Thrift Shop Update: Over £3,500 Raised

Congratulations and a huge thank you to all those who helped out at the Thrift Shop last week, raising £3,509.88p towards purchasing new Christmas Lights for the village of Lybster.

Lybster Community Group are currently seeking other funding sources to buy around £13,000 of Christmas Lighting, including a 3D Christmas Tree for the square in Lybster

A special thanks goes to all our volunteers who gave up their own time to help out. Thank you to Joan Baikie , Alison Gunn, Valerie Gunn, Kay Carter, Heather Norris, Vera Hendry , Tobe Mackay, Rose Mackay, Chrissie Polson, Jillian Gow, Syd Morrice, Lorna Jensen, and Marella MacDonald. Also a big thank you to Heloise Henderson for donating fresh baking every day plus everyone else that donated baking.

Of course, this would not have been achievable if it wasn’t for the fabulous support from the community of Lybster who generously donated items for sale, as well as those who bought some of the items on show.
