Flow Country EVENT NOTICE

The Peatlands Partnership is announcing the start of an extensive community consultation over a proposed World Heritage Site for The Flow Country, the vast area in Sutherland and Caithness that is now widely recognised as being the best peatland of its type in the world.

Come along between 11am and 7pm to one of our local drop-in events to chat about the possibility that the area might become a World Heritage Site.  The Golspie event will be open from 1pm to 7pm. We are not only interested in your feedback and views but also your ideas and peat bog memories.  This will help us to prepare a plan to cover the many opportunities that World Heritage Site status might bring to the area.
